In response to the recent COVID-19 epidemic, we are taking recommended precautions. We are providing curb-side service. Communication with clients and doctors will be largely conducted via phone, Zoom meeting, FaceTime or another platform. Pets needing surgery or other treatments/diagnostics will be transferred from you to our staff, typically in the parking lot, in an effort to minimize human contact. Please be patient with the process in order to keep everyone safe.
We value our clients' experience at Anderson Veterinary Clinic. If your pet or animal is currently a patient, please feel free to complete the following Client Experience Questionnaire. The Questionnaire is in Adobe Acrobat format, and requires the free Acrobat Reader to view.
Dr. Natasha Anderson
Doctor decamp did our 10 yr old labs CCL surgery. We picked her up the next day and she was already walking better then what she was before surgery! I would recommend animal surgical center to everyone!
My 6 year old lab mix has been diagnosed with lymphoma and has been needing treatments here almost every week. The staff are always friendly even when the waiting room is full of dogs. They do a great job taking care of dogs who are shy or have special needs. Our dog is still fighting her cancer, but we have been given so much more time with her because of the staff here. Thank you for taking care of our pup!...
I've had three different dogs treated here for a total of four different surgeries. All recovered extremely well. I've had a young active dog treated for a TPLO, an at-risk older dog for lump removal, and a surgery I'd not been able to find a qualified surgeon in the state for another dog. I was originally recommended to come here from the Troy area by a veterinary physical therapist who said, "I'd let Dr. Degner cut into me." Having seen the results of his surgeries, I'd have to agree. Not just that, but his place is clean, his staff caring and efficient, and his prices are much cheaper than what I would be charged at similar specialty clinics in Oakland county. This is my go-to for surgeries for my animals. I will say, each time I go, the place is busier and busier. The secret of how good they are is getting to be well-known, so don't expect to get in immediately....
Our dog broke his leg on Saturday, and they got us in for surgery on Monday the week of New Years! He stayed overnight and we picked him up New Year's day. They were incredibly kind and patient while we asked several questions. The discharge paperwork was discussed in depth and written clearly so we can follow for the next 8 weeks. And they are open 24 hours for any questions we may have while he is recovering!...
Dr. Degner is wonderful. I also appreciate the front desk staff who are all friendly. David was especially helpful.
Thank you to the veterinarian Jennifer and Anna!!! My dog had blood in his stool for almost a month and was so weak and after going to three different vets/animal emergency hospitals and almost $800 later animal surgical center told me it might be IBD which is a condition that involves inflammation of the walls of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Signs that your dog may have IBD include frequent vomiting, decreased appetite, weight loss, loose stool, frequent defecation, or liquid or bloody diarrhea. And prescribed me steroids and the next day my dog didn’t have not one drop of blood in his stool!!!!! I’m sorry for the long post but I just want anyone that ever goes through this to have at least some hope because this was a very scary situation to the point where I didn’t know if I had to but my baby down or not! I would highly recommend them and Anna was the nicest person ever! Thank you guys for everything!!!! ❤️...
Dr. Degner successfully completed a tricky ectopic ureter correction. Taylor's been spayed and placed in a new home, now that she doesn't continually dribble urine. Much better than having to permanently wear britches to catch the flow.
Caring staff. Surgeon answered all of it questions. They really care about their patients & the pets' owners.
Great start and veterinarians. They took care of our pitbull with the utmost skill.
Really did a great job on my puppies ACL, will update after follow up visits
Absolutely love this entire team. Dr. Degner has taken care of ALL of my (adored and spoiled) pets for as long as I can remember. The care and compassion that he and his team show is exceptional. I can't say goo enough things about them!
They came highly recommend by our vet. Staff treated our Chow with gentle respect while doing what they had to do to fix his problem
Always treated so nice . They truly love your pets <3
The only place I've felt comfortable taking my baby. He is 14 and has colon cancer. They were able to do the surgery same day and he is healing up so well, hes back to his normal self in 4 days! They were reasonably priced and very attentive in checking in on him in the days following surgery. And I dont mean a receptionist calling I mean the surgeon himself called to check in. After being wrongfully diagnosed by his primary vet and almost dying a lot sooner because of it, the vets here really cared and got my fur son the best treatment possible....
Our dog tore his ACL and meniscus, we were able to get an appointment right away for consultation and surgery. In surgery it was discovered he would need a different size plate and they took that in stride. He is fully recovered and nobody would know he had the surgery. Staff was very friendly and helpful, even when I was worried and asking a lot of questions. Would highly recommend!...
I cannot recommend this center enough. Dr. Decamp and the entire staff clearly love their jobs and are amazing. They were all so kind and compassionate from the very first phone call. My dog needed two separate surgeries, one being quite extensive. Dr. Decamp kept such a close eye on her and was very thorough each time in his explanation. At such an awful time, this center really REALLY helped us make it through. Ruby LOVES going back and is so happy to see them, and that really says a lot!...
I couldn't have asked for better care! Dr. Pearson and Dr. Dan helped us through diagnosing and treating insulinoma in our dog. They both took all the time needed to answer questions and even to just reassure us. The entire staff were kind and treated Sophia like their own. The office coordinated care with our localveterinarian and made sure we had everything we needed. They were the answer to many, many prayers....
Where extremely professional & compassion come together! Organized, calls on updates, team works together & help to understand what is going on, how they will help & don't rush. If you need specialist in animal care, all your vet about working with this surgical center!
They took wonderful care of my baby and were extremely thorough and professional.
Gave me hope and more answers the the other 3 vets ive been to in the last 18 hours. Love the people here
Exactly one year ago we took our 6 year old Labrador Retriever, Hank, to see Dr. Degner. After three other veterinarians told us that his end stage arthritis was so bad in his right elbow that it would need to be fused, amputated or he would have to be put down. We agreed to have Dr. Degner perform arthroscopic surgery and Hank spent two days recovering at the hospital. We followed all of Dr. Degner’s advice and I am happy to say that Hank completed a 4 mile walk/run with me today without any issues whatsoever. I highly recommend Dr. Degner and he will be the first call we make if any of our animals need help in the future!...
Absolutely love these doctors I had no appointment. My dog was dying and they got him in immediately for surgery and they didn't charge as much as what other places would've..thank God for this place💖
They got my dog in quickly and were very straight forward and professional about everything. I wouldn't bring my dog anywhere else besides to Dr. Doyle/ Dr. Dan to get a surgery if I could help it. I was so worried about my baby getting her knee surgery but they put my mind at ease.
The Vet there is really friendly, she takes her time with you and explains things really well. This is a very good place to take your animals, everyone is friendly and I would recommend this place to anyone!
Brought my 13 yr old fur-baby in for consultation then surgery. Dr. Dan was recommended by Cody's vet. Dr. Dan and his staff was very nice, knowledgeable and attentive. They kept me updated throughout his stay in the hospital and called to check on him once he was discharged. I am very pleased with Cody's care, it was worth the hour drive. Cody is recovering remarkably well!...
Dr Pearson is very good at what she does.
SO thankful for Dr.Dan and his staff! We were dealt with an unexpected surgery for our dog, that required special skills. After one surgery was complete, due to the staffs vigilant care, it was discovered another surgery was needed. Dr. Dan put our beloved pet in the care of Dr. Proust who successfully performed the second surgery. After we were able to bring our pet home, Dr. Dan kept in touch verifying our pets condition was still improving....even on the weekend! We have a long haul ahead of us & Dr. Dan and his staff are a two hour ride for us, but they are absolutely worth it!! Thank you you to Dr. Dan, Dr. Probst and staff. Your assistance, help, and support has greatly helped our family during this difficult time!...
