Eric Zellner
DVM, Diplomate ACVS
Dr. Zellner, a native of Michigan, formerly completed his DVM at Michigan State University. He completed an internship, during which he became passionate for veterinary surgery. He subsequently completed a Small Animal Surgical Residency at Iowa State University and remained on faculty as staff surgeon. His research has included suture patterns for tendon repair, tendon plating repair techniques, sacroiliac luxation repair using minimally invasive surgery, congenital laryngeal paralysis in Huskies and skin biomechanics. He has joined Animal Surgical Center of Michigan and performs both orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. He and his wife, Donna, were recently blessed with a beautiful baby girl.
